Nathan A. Lilly, Artistic Director, celebrates his thirteenth season with St. Richard Theatre Company, where his credits include Good News, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Children of Eden, Bells are Ringing, Once On This Island, Godspell, Seussical, The Wiz, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, and Crazy for You.  He was also program director of the annual Summer Musical Theatre Workshop.  He has worked as a professional actor, director, choreographer, and teaching artist at many Northeast Ohio venues and schools, including The Cleveland Playhouse, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Dobama Theatre, Karamu Theatre, Opera Cleveland, Beck Center for the Arts, Brecksville Theatre of the Square, and East Cleveland Theatre, as well as The Cleveland School for the Arts, St. Joseph Academy, St. Edward High School, St. Ignatius High School, SMS Dramatic Arts Organization, and Fairview High School.  Favorite credits in directing and/or choreography include Pippin, Once On This Island, Gypsy, Cabaret, My Favorite Year, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Ain't Misbehavin', as well as Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori's Caroline, Or Change with Dobama and Karamu Theatres.  As an actor, Nathan has appeared at the Cleveland Playhouse in Bunnicula, Ferdinand the Bull, and The Nutcracker, at Cleveland Height's Cain Park in The Wiz, Kiss Me, Kate and Damn Yankees, at Blossom's Porthouse Theatre in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, at Beck Center for the Arts in Aida and Ma' Rainey's Black Bottom, and in Songs for the New World, Seussical, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, A New Brain and Little Shop of Horrors.

 

   

Terri Klopp, Stage Director, makes her debut with SRTC in the Spring 2011 production of Schoolhouse Rock Live.  In 2009, Terri facilitated the creation of the Fairview Park Fine Arts and Theatre Association where she currently serves as Director.  In the short time since its creation, Terri has produced two plays and one musical with FPFATA and is beginning work on the next musical production to be presented in summer 2011.  Terri also serves as Director of Children's Theatre Camp for FPFATA.  The theatre camp consists of 5 week summer programs for students ages 5-12, as well as one day Express Theatre Camp Days during holiday breaks.  Prior to FPFATA, Terri was the Drama Director at Fairview High School from 2007-2009 where productions included May the Farce Be With You, Bye Bye Birdie, Kodiak Flapjack, Man of the Frozen North and Seussical the Musical, and held the position of Assistant Drama Director / Costumer from 2006-2007 for A Mid Summer Night’s Dream and Disney's Annie.  Additionally, Terri directed several one act plays within her church community, has served as church choir director or children's music director for over 20 years and has performed musically and theatrically throughout the years.

 

 

 

Heidi Herczeg, Musical Director, holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University and is a graduate of the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory. A vocal music teacher at Bay Middle School by day, Heidi has been seen music directing at the Cleveland Playhouse, Playhouse Square Center, Beck Center for the Arts, Cassidy Theater, Weathervane Playhouse, Huntington Playhouse, Chagrin Valley Little Theater and Brecksville Theater on the Square. She has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and the Cleveland Opera Chorus, where she also served as Children’s Choir Master. Heidi also taught for several years at Beck Center Children’s Theater program and for the Fairmount Performing Arts Camp. Her next project will be The Drowsy Chaperone at Huntington Playhouse followed by a  return to True North Cultural Arts to music direct Alice in Wonderland and Big River.
 

   

Andrea Leach, Choreographer, is currently a junior at Baldwin-Wallace College in the Conservatory of Music studying Musical Theatre.  She was recently seen in Baldwin-Wallace’s production of RENT as Maureen.  This summer she will be in Boise, Idaho with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival/Great Lakes Theatre Company performing in Cabaret and William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. She has dedicated most of her life to performing and has been singing and dancing for over 15 years.  She continues to study various styles of dance and has enjoyed sharing her knowledge and passion for dance performance with the students at St. Richard’s.  Andrea feels very blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such creative and talented kids.  Here’s to a great cast, crew, creative team, and show!

 

   

Andrew Way, Assistant Choreographer  is a freshman Music Theatre major at Baldwin Wallace and Schoolhouse Rock is his Ohio choreographic debut!  He is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduated from the Theatre Performance program at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan, last year.  Some favorite theatre credits include A Chorus Line (Zach), Les Misérables (Marius), and The Pajama Game (Sid) as well as the U.S. premiere of Eric Whitacre’s new musical, Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings.  He has been spotted performing in Carnegie Hall, Duke Chapel, and the Washington National Cathedral.  He was most recently seen in the ensemble of BW's landmark production of La Boheme and is looking forward to 3 more years of work in the Baldwin Wallace Music Theatre program.

 

 

 

Katie Gardner, Chorus Director, was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio where she grew up performing in dozens of musical theatre productions beginning at age 6, and where her father remains the business director of the Mansfield Playhouse community theatre. She holds a degree in Music Therapy from the Baldwin Wallace College Conservatory of Music and works as a music therapist for older adults with dementia, and those on hospice. She also provides in-home piano instruction to area students.
